North Horsham Parish Council is proud to commend the Booklet “A History of North Horsham Parish – To Celebrate the Millennium”.
The Booklet was written by Dr Annabelle Hughes and takes the reader from the first recorded mention of the place name Horsham in an Anglo-Saxon Charter of 947; and through the centuries to 2000.
The Booklet gives a fascinating insight into the historical families of the Parish, the way the land has developed and interesting details about Parish buildings.
The Booklet is available from the Parish Office, at a cost of £2.75.
The Council is looking to start a Project involving gathering together local photographs of both Roffey and Holbrook as they were in the past. Apart from being shown on the Web Site, there will also be displays at Roffey Millennium Hall.
If you wish to contribute to this section of the site, please contact the Parish Office.
